USF's Dance Centre is exactly that - a center for dance. The hub of all dance facilities, our $1.8 million three-story facility houses three 40'x50' studios, observation rooms, reference library, and make-up rooms. Adjacent production facilities include a 550-seat proscenium theater, 350 seat black box and scenic and costume shops.

Each studio is equipped with floating wood floors covered with cushioned Tarkett flooring to protect dancers from injury, overhead observation rooms, built-in sound, mirrors and walnut barres. Spacious studios also feature grand pianos enabling instructors to conduct classes with live accompaniment. 

Within the Dance Centre, computer stations with complete Internet linkage have been established for student use in research. All USF students have access to a personal e-mail address and Student Laboratories have been established throughout the campus.

Through an ongoing course, Conditioning for Dance, students have access to Pilates-based Reformers for developing and maintaining flexibility and strength. USF has also established a Recreation Center which provides Students and Faculty with state of the art exercise equipment, swimming pool, raquetball and much much more.
